D-2 VISA
While D-1 Visa is not open to the crewmen in an aboard fishing vessels, D-2 Visa is designed for the crewmen who are serving for the normal operations of an aboard vessel. Like the crewmen for D-1 Visas, crewmen applying for D-2 Visas must also show a good faith in serving the operation of the vessel. The fishing vessel should have a home port or base of operation in the U.S. As a general rule, the applicant should plan to land in and depart from Guam as a part of the crew duties.
