UnitedNations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods(CISG) (联合国国际贸易合同纠纷仲裁公约) Signed in Vienna in 1980. The CISG established a comprehensive code oflegal rules governing the formation of contracts for the internationalsale of goods, including remedies for breach of contract. 1489 UNTS 3, concluded April 10, 1980 and entered into force on January1, 1988.
WorldTrade Organization (WTO) (世界贸易组织) The General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT) came into being in1948 as a multilateral instrument to promote trade. In 1993, theUruguay Round of GATT established the World Trade Organization as aninternational organization. The WTO deals with the rules of tradebetween nations and supports the multilateral trading system throughthe WTO agreements.
